Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Age 18 years or older
- Moderate to severe ARDS
- Written informed consent obtained from patient' surrogates
Exclusion
- Pneumothorax
- Known pregnancy
- Contraindication to electrical impedance tomography or esophageal pressure measurements
