Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • patients with:
  • a documented active malignancy;
  • PICC or PORT placement for systemic chemotherapy;

Exclusion

  • patients with:
  • a communication disorder;
  • contraindications to anticoagulation therapy;
  • hematopathy;
  • expected survival of less than one month;
  • were lost to follow-up.
