Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- need for i.v. therapy longer than 7 days
- poor peripheral vein status
- Administration of alprostadil
Exclusion
- pending dialysis
- allergy to catheter material
- minor age
- life threatening conditions
- requirement for central venous catheter
