Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Adult patients
  • Single or double lung transplantation

Exclusion

  • Contraindications to TEE including:
  • perforated esophagus;
  • esophageal stricture;
  • esophageal tumor; and
  • history of an esophagectomy
  • Patients that require a tracheostomy postoperatively.
