Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- A) Patients with chronic liver disease and histologically proven cirrhosis
- B) Control subjects with no signs of cirrhosis
Exclusion
- Age \<18 years
- patients who developed hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and/or cholangiocellular carcinoma (CCC)
