Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • early permanent dentition (ages 9 to 14)
  • mandibular retrusion-related class II skeletal deformity
  • overjet more than 4mm.

Exclusion

  • systemic diseases
  • congenital craniofacial deformity
  • cleft lip or palate
  • unusual habits
  • previous orthodontic treatment.
