Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Patients with symptomatic BPH.

Exclusion

  • Patients with indwelling catheters
  • Recent antibiotic use
  • Immunocompromised states (e.g., HIV, HCV)
  • Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus (Hemoglobin A1c \> 7%)
  • Steroid therapy
  • Those who declined to provide consent
