Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Spanish or English-speaking
- Diagnosis of type 1 diabetes
- Glycosylated Hemoglobin (HbA1c) between 7.5% and 12.5% in the last 90 days
- Screen positive for diabetes distress
You will not qualify if you...
- Severe medical or psychological conditions that would interfere with participation based on provider opinion
- Plans to move out of the San Diego area within the next 12 months
- Lack of necessary technology to complete online surveys and telemedicine visits
