Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Age over 18 years
  • Symptomatic large bowel obstruction requiring acute intervention
  • CT-verified colon obstruction due to colon cancer regardless of metastases
  • Provided informed consent
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Colonic perforation or bleeding
  • Colonic obstruction caused by conditions other than colon cancer
  • Palliative care situation
