Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age between 45 and 75 years
- Diagnosed with ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke
- No cooperation or communication problems
- Gastrosoleus spasticity with a Modified Ashworth Scale score of 2 or below
- Modified Rankin Scale score between 0 and 3
- Weigh less than 150 kilograms
- Able to walk independently, with or without an assistive device
You will not qualify if you...
- Surgery or Botox treatment for spasticity within the last 6 months
- Joint contracture present
- Other neurological diseases affecting walking or standing
- Pain in lower extremity joints or fractures in the last 6 months
- Spasticity preventing sole contact
- Declines to participate or does not provide written consent
