Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Age between 45 and 75 years
  • Diagnosed with ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke
  • No cooperation or communication problems
  • Gastrosoleus spasticity with a Modified Ashworth Scale score of 2 or below
  • Modified Rankin Scale score between 0 and 3
  • Weigh less than 150 kilograms
  • Able to walk independently, with or without an assistive device
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Surgery or Botox treatment for spasticity within the last 6 months
  • Joint contracture present
  • Other neurological diseases affecting walking or standing
  • Pain in lower extremity joints or fractures in the last 6 months
  • Spasticity preventing sole contact
  • Declines to participate or does not provide written consent
