Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Diagnosis of sickle cell disease (any genotype)
- Between ages 7 and 16 years old
- Working memory difficulties shown by scoring more than 1 standard deviation below the norm on specific memory tests or relative weakness compared to IQ
You will not qualify if you...
- Motor, visual, or hearing impairments that prevent computer use
- Mental health conditions that prevent or take precedence over cognitive training participation
- History of seizures triggered by flashing lights (photosensitive seizures)
- Insufficient fluency in English
- Recent start or dose change of stimulant medication for attention issues within the past 30 days
