Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age between 18 and 80 years
- Acute ischemic stroke with indication for endovascular treatment within 24 hours of onset
- Stroke in the anterior circulation with vessel occlusion in the intracranial internal carotid artery or M1/M2 segment of the middle cerebral artery
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) score of 6 or higher
- Alberta Stroke Program Early CT Score (ASPECTS) of 3 or higher
- Modified Rankin Scale (mRS) score of 4 or less before stroke onset
- Written informed consent from patient or legal representative
You will not qualify if you...
- Evidence of intracranial hemorrhage on baseline CT or MRI
- History of bleeding disorders or coagulation deficiencies
- Difficulty completing endovascular treatment due to vascular tortuosity
- Severe allergy to contrast agents not controlled by medication
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Congestive heart failure episode or worsening within past 6 months
- Heart valve disease with heart failure within past 6 months
- Cardiac surgery with thoracotomy within past 6 months
- Acute myocardial infarction within past 6 months or signs upon admission
- Elevated serum troponin upon admission (>0.1 bcg/L)
- Acute arrhythmia with hemodynamic instability upon admission
- Chronic lung diseases requiring oxygen therapy
- Physical exam signs of congestive heart failure or pulmonary issues
- Severe chronic anemia (hemoglobin < 75 g/L)
- Recent or current serum creatinine >1.5 times upper limit or eGFR <60 mL/min
- Refractory hypertension (systolic >220 mmHg or diastolic >110 mmHg)
- Elevated liver enzymes (ALT or AST >1.5 times upper limit)
- History of allergy to albumin
- Severe mental disorders or dementia preventing consent or follow-up
- Expected survival less than 90 days
- Participation in other interventional clinical studies within 30 days
- Other conditions deemed unsuitable by investigator
