Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients with brain injuries (subarachnoid hemorrhage, traumatic brain injury, ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke)
- Patients with moderate and severe ARDS criteria (as defined by classification of Berlin)
- Patients under mechanical ventilation
- Adults aged 18 years or older
You will not qualify if you...
- Intracranial pressure greater than 25 mmHg
- Pregnant women
- History of chronic respiratory disease
- Presence of bronchopleural fistula
- Hemodynamic instability despite appropriate measures
