Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Participants must be aged between 18 and 65, with no gender restrictions
- Diagnosis of depression by study physician based on DSM-5
- HAMD-17 score of 17 or higher
- No change in antidepressant medication from 30 days before consent through the study
- Ability to understand study objectives and procedures and provide informed consent
You will not qualify if you...
- History of psychiatric or neurological disorders affecting study evaluation
- History of seizures or epilepsy
- Presence of metallic objects in the skull or metallic cardiac implants
- Diagnosis of organic brain disease or significant head trauma or neurosurgery
- Previous electroconvulsive or other physical therapy treatments like transcranial magnetic stimulation
- Significant risk of suicidal ideation or behavior
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Participation in other clinical intervention trials
- Any other condition deemed unsuitable by the investigator
