You may qualify if you...

  • Critically ill obstetric patients who will undergo cesarean section under neuraxial anesthesia
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Patient refuses to participate
  • Known allergy to any study medication components
  • Disturbed consciousness level
  • Surgery lasting more than 90 minutes or complicated
  • Severe liver dysfunction or failure
  • Severe renal dysfunction or failure
  • Severe thrombocytopenia with platelets less than 50
