Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 240 years or older
- Statin-treated patients with muscle pain alone or with other symptoms
- Patients currently on statins who developed new muscle pain within 90 days of starting or increasing the dose
You will not qualify if you...
- History of cancer or serious neurological or psychiatric disorders, including alcohol or drug abuse
- Women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or of childbearing potential not using adequate contraception
- Use of CoQ10 supplements within 1 month before starting the study
- Genetic muscle or nerve disorders affecting muscle metabolism
- Use of steroid medication within 1 month before starting the study
