Anti-mullerian Hormone Levels in Healthy Females
Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Pre- and post-pubertal females
- Ages 0-18 years old
- Tanner Stage I-V
- Undergoing routine outpatient surgical procedure such as hernia repair (inguinal, umbilical, epigastric), excision of benign mass, or laparoscopic cholecystectomy
You will not qualify if you...
- Previous diagnosis of illnesses linked to premature ovarian failure or endocrine disorders affecting menstrual cycles
- History of insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus or autoimmune disorders
- Previous diagnosis of any cancer or history of chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or stem-cell transplant
- Previous surgical removal of one or both ovaries
- Pregnancy
- Inpatient surgical patients
- Undergoing non-routine outpatient surgical procedures such as central venous catheter placement, Supprelin insertion/removal, breast mass excision, or gastrostomy tube insertion
