Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 18 years or older
- Histologically confirmed endometrial carcinoma, including uterine carcinosarcoma
- Performance status (ECOG) of 0 or 1
- Patients scheduled for staging surgery for endometrial cancer, including robotic hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy and possible sentinel lymph node biopsy or pelvic ± para-aortic lymphadenectomy
- Signed informed consent to participate in the study
You will not qualify if you...
- Scheduled for additional extra-genital surgical procedures during staging surgery for endometrial carcinoma
- Anesthesiological contraindications to a minimally invasive surgical approach
- Presence of synchronous tumors
- Recurrence of endometrial carcinoma
- Dementia or significantly altered mental status impairing consent ability
- Any condition interfering with regular follow-up, even if limited to the first 30 days after surgery
