Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Diagnosed with severe pneumonia between February 1, 2023, and March 30, 2024, in the Respiratory Intensive Care Unit of Xiangya Hospital
- Diagnosis based on at least one major or three minor criteria of severe pneumonia
- Receiving mechanical ventilation and requiring sedation treatment
- Age 18 years or older
You will not qualify if you...
- Allergic to routine sedative or analgesic medications
- Have not undergone pain and sedation assessment
- Transferred to another hospital during treatment
- Abandoned treatment and discharged within less than 72 hours of treatment
