Application of Patient Blood Management in the Oncology Patient Affected by Breast Cancer
Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age over 18 years
- Diagnosed with histologically confirmed breast cancer, with or without neoadjuvant chemotherapy
- Candidates for destructive and/or reconstructive breast surgery
- Hemoglobin values less than or equal to 11 g/dL and/or transferrin saturation less than or equal to 20%
- Provided written informed consent
You will not qualify if you...
- Known allergies to ferric carboxymaltose or its excipients
- Ferritin values greater than 500 ng/ml
- Unable to sign consent or comply with study procedures
