Researchers are investigating the effects of art therapy on motor function recovery in patients who have experienced a subacute ischemic stroke. This study focuses on the critical subacute recovery phase, which occurs days to weeks after the stroke, when rehabilitation efforts can significantly influence long-term outcomes. The study aims to compare the impact of art therapy with regular therapy in improving motor function during this period. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either art therapy or regular therapy. Art therapy includes activities such as music, painting, and dance, which help regulate emotions, reduce anxiety and depression, and stimulate different brain areas to encourage neuroplasticity and motor recovery. The study intervention period covers the subacute stroke phase, specifically between two weeks and three months after stroke onset. During the study, participants will undergo assessments including the Fugl-Meyer Assessment at one month to measure motor function improvement. Researchers will monitor participants physical and cognitive abilities, emotional status, and communication skills to ensure effective participation. The study is designed to provide insights into how art therapy may support rehabilitation in stroke survivors aged 40 to 75, with mild to moderate stroke effects.
