Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Younger than 18 years of age
- Body weight greater than 10 kg
- Indication for a potential robot-assisted operation
- Expected survival of more than 3 months
You will not qualify if you...
- Need for surgery on the heart or major vessels
- Inappropriate for laparoscopic or endoscopic approach in the chest area
- Anaesthetic contraindications, pacemakers or implants preventing electrosurgery, cancer, or preference for traditional surgery
- Pregnancy beyond the second trimester
- Insufficient understanding of the local or English language by child or parents
- Severe medical conditions or abnormal lab results contraindicating laparoscopic or endoscopic surgery
- Need for surgery in upper mediastinum or upper pleural cavity as per device manual
