Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients 18 years old or older
- Newly diagnosed RCC by biopsy or radiologic evidence of tumor growth over 6-12 months
- Primary tumor larger than 3 cm or recurrent lesion after local therapy
- Medically inoperable or patient refuses surgery after urologist assessment and multidisciplinary discussion
- ECOG performance status 0 to 2
- Able to provide written informed consent
- Able to understand English or use a translator
You will not qualify if you...
- Primary tumor larger than 20 cm
- Evidence of distant metastatic disease
- Previous abdominal radiation near the kidney preventing SBRT
- History of major radiosensitivity syndrome
- Second invasive cancer within past 3 years (except non-melanoma skin cancer)
- Currently pregnant or breastfeeding
