Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Adults of either sex (18 years or older)
- Endotracheally intubated within the past 24 hours
- Expected to require at least 24 hours of mechanical ventilation
You will not qualify if you...
- Receiving continuous neuromuscular blockade
- Ventilated using Airway Pressure Release Ventilation mode
