Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 18 years or older
- BMI between 25-45 kg/m2
- Able to read, write, and speak English with acceptable vision
- Has a household member aged 14 years or older willing to complete three assessments over 12 months (if cohabitating)
- Household participants must be 14 years or older
- Parent consent required for household participants under 18 years old
- Willingness to complete assessments and measurements
You will not qualify if you...
- Currently enrolled in weight loss programs or undergoing bariatric surgery
- Pregnant women
- Conditions where weight loss is unsafe (unstable coronary artery disease, end-stage disease, active cancer treatment, uncontrolled insulin-dependent diabetes, portal hypertension, drug/alcohol abuse)
- Severe cognitive delays or visual/hearing impairment
- Unable or unwilling to complete study assessments or measurements
- Household participants younger than 14 years
- Household participants unable or unwilling to complete study assessments or measurements
