Registry Study to Understand Clinical and Biological Features of Hodgkin Lymphoma, Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, and Myeloma in Adults

Lymphoid cancer, including Hodgkin disease, non-Hodgkin lymphomas, and myeloma, is the most common blood cancer. Researchers are working to better understand the clinical and biological features of patients with these cancers and how they respond to treatments in real-world settings. This observational study collects detailed information to address challenges like treatment resistance, disease recurrence, and outcomes with new drugs. Patients clinical data and biological samples are gathered through a registry managed by the Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at Ospedale Papa Giovanni XIII in Bergamo. Standard procedures are followed for collecting treatments and clinical information. The study collects data over a long period to analyze treatment patterns and support research that may impact clinical care. Participants provide informed consent and their medical information is recorded in validated electronic charts along with biological specimens stored via a regulated biobank. The study tracks overall survival, disease-free survival, progression-free survival, and biological studies over 20 years. This long-term follow-up helps researchers learn more about lymphoid cancer outcomes and biology to improve future patient care.
