Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Signed informed consent.
- Age 18 to less than 86 years.
- Acute ischemic stroke with symptom onset within 12 hours before hospital admission.
- Diagnosis of acute ischemic stroke confirmed by MRI showing diffusion restriction.
You will not qualify if you...
- Pregnancy or positive pregnancy test in women of child-bearing potential.
- Standard contraindications to MRI.
- Severe renal failure with glomerular filtration rate below 40.
