Biological Study of Adults with Untreated Primary Immune Thrombocytopenia ITP Starting First-Line Therapy

What this Trial Is About

Researchers are studying patients with primary Immune Thrombocytopenia ITP who have not received previous treatment and require first-line therapy. This non-profit, multicenter, biological, non-drug study aims to understand the biological characteristics of ITP by analyzing samples collected over time to observe changes related to the disease, treatment, and response. Participants will have peripheral blood, fecal, and bone marrow samples collected at the start of the study and again at 30 days and 180 days after beginning treatment. If a new line of therapy is needed, the same sample collection and assessments will be repeated to track biological changes. During the study, researchers will compare the biological analyses from each time point to identify disease patterns and treatment effects. The main measurement includes assessing the incidence of B-cell mediated disease at baseline. Participation involves biological sample collection and monitoring over time, with the study planned to continue until November 2026.
