Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients suspected of colorectal cancer who require colonoscopy
- Patients between 50 and 75 years old who are asymptomatic and need follow-up colonoscopy
- If colonoscopy is normal post-inclusion, patient will be assigned to control group
- If colonoscopy shows mucosal lesions, patient will be assigned to colorectal cancer or polyps group based on pathology
You will not qualify if you...
- Clinical conditions that may raise TFPI-1 or TFPI-2 levels: acute coronary syndrome, severe sepsis, decompensated cirrhosis, pregnancy, chronic inflammatory bowel disease, colitis, or radiation rectitis
- Endoscopic polypectomy without prior histological confirmation
- Emergency conditions such as occlusion or peritonitis
- Minors
- Persons under legal protection or unable to consent
- Persons not affiliated with a social security system
- Pregnant women, women in labor, or nursing mothers
