Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • At least 18 years old
  • No psychiatric diagnoses or medications except for substance use disorders related to alcohol, tobacco, or cannabis
  • At least 4 episodes of heavy drinking in the past month
  • At least 3 occasions of cannabis use in the past month
  • Daily cigarette use for at least the past month
  • Normal or corrected-to-normal vision
  • Written informed consent provided
  • No previous experience with meditation or neurofeedback
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Any psychiatric diagnoses other than substance use disorder
  • Medical disorders affecting the central nervous system
  • Use of medications affecting the central or autonomic nervous system
  • Positive pregnancy test for females
  • Recent illicit drug use in the past month excluding cannabis
