Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Signed informed consent
  • Healthy individuals aged 18 to 65 years
  • Individuals diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis aged 18 to 65 years with EDSS score 6.0 or less
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Any neurological disease other than primary headaches
  • Insufficient German or French language skills
  • Pregnancy or lactation
  • Contraindications for MRI such as active or certain passive implants, large tattoos in MRI areas, claustrophobia, or non-compliance
  • Smoking within the last 10 years
  • Use of drugs other than moderate alcohol intake or medical cannabis
  • Previous head trauma with known or suspected brain consequences
  • Body Mass Index greater than 30
  • Other chronic progressive diseases
  • For healthy group: biological age differing by more than -8/+1 years from chronological age
  • For MS group: EDSS score greater than 6.0
  • For MS group: clinical relapse within the last 6 months
