Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Have a chronic pain condition
- Have an average pain level greater than 3 in the last week
- Willing to participate in study assessments and treatments
- Understand instructions fluently in English or Spanish
- Be 18 years of age or older
You will not qualify if you...
- Unable to give consent due to physical or mental incapacity
- Have previous formal mindfulness or cognitive-behavioral therapy training
- Have pain caused by a current cancer diagnosis
- Have an unstable illness that could affect treatment
- Had surgery within the last three months
- Received pain-relieving injections like cortisone or hyaluronate within the last three months
