Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Have a chronic pain condition
  • Have an average pain level greater than 3 in the last week
  • Willing to participate in study assessments and treatments
  • Understand instructions fluently in English or Spanish
  • Be 18 years of age or older
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Unable to give consent due to physical or mental incapacity
  • Have previous formal mindfulness or cognitive-behavioral therapy training
  • Have pain caused by a current cancer diagnosis
  • Have an unstable illness that could affect treatment
  • Had surgery within the last three months
  • Received pain-relieving injections like cortisone or hyaluronate within the last three months
