Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Aged 80 years or older
- Hospitalized for heart failure decompensation within the last 12 months
- Thickening of septum or left ventricle (12 mm or more) on heart ultrasound
- Able to undergo bone scintigraphy scan
- Willing to participate in the study
You will not qualify if you...
- Refusal to participate
- Admitted to palliative care unit
- Under legal guardianship
- Already diagnosed with cardiac amyloidosis
