Cardiology Research Dubrava: Single Centre, Prospective Registry of Heart and Vascular Conditions

Researchers are conducting the Cardiology Research Dubrava registry, a long-term, single-center observational study including patients with various heart and vascular conditions. These conditions include acute coronary syndrome with or without ST segment elevation, heart failure treated with SGLT-2 inhibitors, aortic stenosis treated with transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), venous thromboembolism including pulmonary embolism with thromboaspiration, patients with implanted cardiac devices like ICD, CRT, and conduction system pacing devices, and patients with atrial fibrillation treated with pulmonary vein isolation and long-term anticoagulation therapy. Participants are grouped based on their specific heart condition and treatment, such as those with acute coronary syndrome undergoing coronary angiography and medication therapy, patients receiving TAVI, those with pulmonary embolism undergoing thromboaspiration, heart failure patients prescribed SGLT-2 inhibitors, patients with implanted cardiac devices, and those undergoing electrophysiology procedures for arrhythmias. The study observes these patients over a long period, collecting data on clinical status, lab results including lipid profiles and NTproBNP levels after interventions, bleeding complications, and major cardiovascular events. Participants will be followed up regularly for up to 10 years, with data collected on cardiovascular death, atrial arrhythmia freedom, time to revascularization, bleeding complications, and lab markers such as NTproBNP. The study involves monitoring clinical outcomes, laboratory tests, and medical events to better understand the long-term effects of these treatments and conditions. This registry helps track the health and treatment outcomes of patients managed at a tertiary cardiology center.
