Researchers are evaluating the knowledge patients with ankylosing spondylitis have about cardiovascular disease risk factors and healthy lifestyle behaviors. This observational study aims to fill a gap in existing research by assessing how well these patients understand risks related to cardiovascular health and their engagement in physical activity. The study is sponsored by Kirsehir Ahi Evran Universitesi and focuses on adults aged 18 to 65 with this condition. Participants include patients diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis who have been on stable medication for at least three months. The study involves assessing their knowledge of cardiovascular risk factors and healthy lifestyle behaviors through questionnaires. Physical activity levels, cardiovascular risk, and other comorbidities are also evaluated as part of the study measures. During the study, participants will complete assessments lasting between 5 to 15 minutes each, covering knowledge of cardiovascular disease risks, lifestyle behaviors, physical activity, and related health risks. These evaluations help researchers understand patient awareness and habits. The total duration of participation varies, with no intervention or treatment administered. The study is observational, focusing on data collection and analysis without altering patient care.
