Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 18 years or older
- Evidence of a tumor or neoplasm involving the central nervous system or nearby structures contacting cerebrospinal fluid
- Lesions may be benign, malignant, or not yet defined, in brain, spine, meninges, nerves, blood vessels, or supporting tissues
You will not qualify if you...
- Under 18 years of age or member of a vulnerable population
- Pregnant women or women who may be pregnant
- No clinical or imaging evidence of a possible brain or CNS tumor
- Unable or unwilling to provide informed consent or lack of a legal representative if needed
- Medical reasons preventing safe access to cerebrospinal fluid, such as large brain mass at risk of herniation or bleeding disorders
