Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Class II Division 2 patients as classified by the British Standard Institute.
- Age between 12 and 16 years with Cervical Vertebral Maturational Index stages 4 or 5.
- Contact between upper and lower front teeth with a deep bite of at least 70%.
- Full permanent teeth present except for the third molars.
You will not qualify if you...
- Previous orthodontic treatment.
- Severe transverse dental problems.
- Pain or clicking sounds in the temporomandibular joint (TMJ).
- Craniofacial anomalies or diagnosed syndromes.
