Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Class II Division 2 patients as classified by the British Standard Institute.
  • Age between 12 and 16 years with Cervical Vertebral Maturational Index stages 4 or 5.
  • Contact between upper and lower front teeth with a deep bite of at least 70%.
  • Full permanent teeth present except for the third molars.
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Previous orthodontic treatment.
  • Severe transverse dental problems.
  • Pain or clicking sounds in the temporomandibular joint (TMJ).
  • Craniofacial anomalies or diagnosed syndromes.
