Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Diagnosed with acute kidney injury based on changes in serum creatinine according to the 2012 KDIGO criteria
You will not qualify if you...
- Fewer than two serum creatinine records during hospitalization
- Diagnosed with end-stage kidney disease (chronic kidney disease stage 5)
- History of nephrectomy (kidney removal)
- History of kidney transplantation
- Peak serum creatinine less than 53 µmol/L
- Serum creatinine decreased after amputation
