Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Ages 18 to 24
- Used a cigarillo in the past 30 days
- Can read English at an 8th grade level or higher
- No immediate plans to quit using tobacco
- Have used a flavored tobacco product at least once before
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident
You will not qualify if you...
- Currently using smoking cessation medications or nicotine replacement therapy
- Pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding
- Have or had significant heart disease, hypertension, or other smoking-related illnesses that may affect study completion
- Unable to abstain from nicotine or tobacco products for at least 12 hours
- Not willing to use the research cigarillos in the laboratory
