Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients with healthy systemic condition.
- Adults 18 years old and older.
- Patients with stage III periodontitis having one isolated intrabony defect with probing depth greater than 6 mm, clinical attachment level greater than 6 mm, and at least 4 mm intrabony component mostly in the interproximal area.
- Full mouth plaque score less than 20%.
- Full mouth bleeding score less than 20%.
- Compliance with good oral hygiene.
- Willingness to accept a 6-month follow-up period.
- Provide informed consent.
You will not qualify if you...
- Currently using drugs that affect periodontitis symptoms.
- Presence of one wall intrabony defect.
- Defects involving both buccal and lingual sites.
- Smoking more than 10 cigarettes per day.
- Pregnant or lactating females.
