Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Age 18 to 80 years
  • Locally advanced or metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma confirmed by histology or cytology (stage III-IV)
  • At least one measurable tumor lesion according to RECIST version 1.1
  • Suitable for treatment with gemcitabine combined with nituzumab
  • No history of other malignant tumors except cured skin cancer and stage 0 cervical cancer
  • Normal liver, kidney, and bone marrow function within specified laboratory limits
  • Good physical condition with ECOG performance status 0 to 2 and no severe complications affecting radiotherapy
  • Adequate major organ function
  • Predicted survival of at least 3 months after treatment
  • Signed informed consent before radiotherapy

You will not qualify if you...

  • Prior treatment with monoclonal antibodies, EGFR-TKI therapy, anti-angiogenic drugs, or immunosuppressants within 6 months
  • Uncontrolled cancerous pleural, pericardial, or abdominal effusions requiring frequent drainage or high bleeding risk
  • Participation in other interventional trials within 30 days before screening
  • Organs at risk cannot safely receive the planned radiation dose
  • Chronic steroid hormone therapy exceeding 6 months or prednisone dose over 10 mg/day
  • Allergy to study drugs or their ingredients
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • AIDS, active syphilis, or receiving antiretroviral therapy
  • Serious uncontrolled comorbidities or substance abuse
  • Poor compliance or inability to complete treatment and follow-up
  • Contraindications to radiotherapy
  • Limited legal capacity
  • Any medical history that may interfere with trial results or increase risk
  • Investigator judgment that participation is inappropriate or will not benefit patient
  • Inability to understand or unwillingness to consent to treatment

Participants receive carbon ion radiotherapy combined with gemcitabine and nituzumab. Radiotherapy is delivered once daily, four or five times a week, with chemotherapy and targeted therapy administered on specific schedules.

Radiotherapy visits 4 to 5 times weekly; chemotherapy on Days 1 and 8 every 3 weeks; weekly targeted therapy for 4 to 6 cycles

Follow-up

Duration - At least 12 months

Participants are followed for survival and tumor progression for at least 12 months after treatment to monitor safety and efficacy outcomes.
