Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Males and females aged between 19 and 64 years
- Body mass index (BMI) between 25.0 and 34.9 kg/m²
- Waist circumference of 90 cm or more for men, 85 cm or more for women
- Subjects who fully understand the study information and voluntarily agree to participate
You will not qualify if you...
- Weight changed by more than 10% within 3 months before the first visit
- Participation in commercial weight loss programs within 3 months before the first visit
- Underwent surgical procedures within the past 3 years
- Use of obesity treatment medications within the last 3 months
- Use of medications or dietary supplements affecting weight control within the last month
- Uncontrolled high blood pressure
- Diagnosis of diabetes
- Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) below 0.1 uIU/ml or above 10 uIU/ml
- Creatinine level above 1.5 mg/dL
- Liver enzymes AST or ALT more than three times the upper normal limit
