Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 17-60 years
- Both genders
- Patients with a score 28 8 on the Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease Questionnaire (Gerd Q) at baseline and after 8 weeks
You will not qualify if you...
- History of gastrointestinal disease, gastroduodenal surgery, inflammatory bowel disease, or Barrett's esophagus
- History or current diagnosis of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome or other gastric acid hypersecretion disorders
- History of total or subtotal gastrectomy and esophageal achalasia
- Current COVID-19 infection
- Major cardiological, respiratory, endocrine metabolic, or neuro-psychological disease
- Pregnancy or lactation
- Total bilirubin level 261.2 mg/dl or ALT level > 100 IU/l
- Renal impairment with creatinine clearance less than 30 ml/min
- Use of atazanavir sulphate, nelfinavir, or rilpivirine hydrochloride due to potential drug interactions
