Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Able and willing to provide a written informed consent
- Scheduled for elective orthopedic surgery
- Meet the ASA Physical Status Classification
You will not qualify if you...
- History of severe allergies
- Nervous system disease
- History of mental illness
- Abnormal liver and kidney function
- Poorly controlled high or low blood pressure
- QTc interval over 450ms for males or 470ms for females
- Positive screening for substance abuse
- History of heart rhythm problems requiring anti-arrhythmia treatment
- Other conditions deemed inappropriate by the investigators
