Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Volunteers aged 18 years and above at the time of screening
- Informed consent obtained and signed by volunteers or witnesses
- At least 3 months since last COVID-19 or influenza vaccination
- At least 3 months since last respiratory viral infection such as COVID-19 or influenza
- Cohort 1: Novel coronavirus antigen-positive within 48 hours of symptom onset
- Cohort 2: Influenza virus antigen-positive within 48 hours of symptom onset
- Cohort 3: Negative for novel coronavirus and influenza virus antigens, no fever or respiratory infection symptoms
You will not qualify if you...
- Known or suspected serious and unstable diseases including respiratory disease, tuberculosis, acute or active chronic infections, liver or kidney disease, cardiovascular disease, hypertension (systolic ≥160 mmHg, diastolic ≥100 mmHg), malignant tumors, infectious or allergic skin diseases, or HIV infection
- Absence or functional absence of spleen
- Use of immunosuppressive, anti-allergy, cytotoxic therapies, or inhaled corticosteroids (except certain sprays or superficial treatments) within past 6 months
- Received blood products within past 3 months
- Received other vaccines or investigational drugs within past 1 month
- Currently receiving anti-tuberculosis treatment
- Any medical, psychological, social, or other conditions that could interfere with trial participation or consent as judged by the investigator
