Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Diagnosed with ischemic stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA)
  • Less than 30 days since onset of ischemic stroke or TIA symptoms
  • Cerebral atherosclerosis confirmed by vascular ultrasound, CT angiography, MR angiography, or digital subtraction angiography
  • Coronary atherosclerosis confirmed by CT angiography, MR angiography, digital subtraction angiography, myocardial ischemia symptoms confirmed by electrocardiogram, echocardiography, or cardiac MR, or history of percutaneous coronary intervention or coronary artery bypass graft
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Presence of malignant tumors, poor organ function, or hematologic diseases with life expectancy less than 5 years
  • Refusal to participate in the research
