Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Adult patients
- Established chronic heart failure for 6 months or more
- Mild-to-moderate cognitive impairment diagnosed or Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) score between 10 and 25
You will not qualify if you...
- Contraindications to sGC stimulator and vericiguat therapy, including use of long-acting nitrates, other sGC stimulators, PDE-5 inhibitors, pregnancy, or breast-feeding
- Unable to undergo cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) or brain MRI imaging
- CMR exclusions such as incompatible implantable cardiac devices, uncontrolled atrial fibrillation, or recurrent ventricular arrhythmias
- Uncontrolled thyroid disorders, liver failure, recent myocardial revascularization within 3 months, cancer or severe dementia
- Allergies to study products
- Currently hospitalized
