Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patient meets clinical criteria for mild cognitive impairment or early dementia from Alzheimer's disease
- Evidence of cognitive impairment on neuropsychological testing
- Has not progressed to moderate stage of dementia based on testing or clinical judgement
- Amyloid PET imaging positive and/or cerebrospinal fluid analysis consistent with Alzheimer's disease
- CSF p-Tau/Abeta42 ratio greater than 0.023 and Abeta42 less than 1027
- 3T MRI performed within the past 6 months
- Has a care partner
- Under care of an appropriate BI-Lahey amyloid clinic
- On a stable medication regimen
You will not qualify if you...
- Recent stroke or suspected transient ischemic attack within the past year
- Pregnancy
- Active autoimmune or immunological disease
- Receiving systemic treatment with immunosuppressants, immunoglobulins, or monoclonal antibodies or derivatives
- Bleeding disorder with platelets less than 50,000 or INR greater than 1.5
- Taking warfarin, heparin, or direct oral anticoagulants
- On dual antiplatelet therapy
- Dementia or mild cognitive impairment caused by conditions other than Alzheimer's disease
- ApoE e4 homozygote
