Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Confirmed diagnosis of familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP)
  • Duodenal polyposis with a recommendation for follow-up endoscopy in 12 months, corresponding to Spigelman stage III (7-8 points)
  • Presence of duodenal polyps smaller than 10 mm
  • Signed written informed consent
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Presence of lesions suspected to have high-grade dysplasia or carcinoma
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Severe general illnesses classified as ASA III or IV with life expectancy less than 1 year
  • Severe blood clotting disorders
  • Any visible duodenal surface condition preventing APC treatment, such as inflammation, strictures, stenosis, or scarring
