Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Confirmed diagnosis of familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP)
- Duodenal polyposis with a recommendation for follow-up endoscopy in 12 months, corresponding to Spigelman stage III (7-8 points)
- Presence of duodenal polyps smaller than 10 mm
- Signed written informed consent
You will not qualify if you...
- Presence of lesions suspected to have high-grade dysplasia or carcinoma
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Severe general illnesses classified as ASA III or IV with life expectancy less than 1 year
- Severe blood clotting disorders
- Any visible duodenal surface condition preventing APC treatment, such as inflammation, strictures, stenosis, or scarring
