Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Tumor smaller than 5 cm
- No evidence of nipple-areola complex, skin, or chest wall invasion
- Meet general requirements for nipple-sparing mastectomy
You will not qualify if you...
- Involvement of nipple-areola complex, chest wall, or skin by cancer
- Inflammatory or locally advanced breast cancer
- Severe other health problems such as heart disease, kidney failure, liver dysfunction
- Poor overall health or performance status as judged by doctors
